In four of the last five games--Cleveland, Utah, Atlanta, and Denver (excluding Chicago where he got hurt)--Harris has averaged: 39 mpg, 20.0 ppg, 9.8 apg, 4.8 rpg, 2.0 spg, shooting 27 for 54 (50%) overall, 6 for 17 (35.2%) from the arc, and 20 for 24 (83.3%) from the stripe. He is only averaging 2.8 turnovers in those four games, good for a point guard. During those four games, he has had career highs in points, with 26; assists, first with 12 then with 13; rebounds with 9. Nets won three of those four games.
those are pretty good numbers, imagine if he did?? Everyone in Dallas would be pissed, with there aging Kidd and seeing Devin just break out.

I've been a Devin Harris hater for a while now but those are pretty impressive numbers. Goes to show you how restrictive Avery's system was. Its basically all one-on-one isolations which is obviously going to limit a PGs ability to succeed. Harris seemed like one of the brightest PG prospects in the league when he was originally drafted but since Avery took over he hit a wall and looked more like a SG than a PG. Good to see Devin doing well in Jersey. Hes still a flopping bitch though.
Devin's stats are great, but it's even better to see the most important stat of all- The Nets went 3-1 in those games (3-2 if you count the Bulls disaster game).

let me clerify what i meant. you ever see manu pull his defenders jersey towards him then he flops? hes like an oldschool nba player. like the stockton and malone, or even charles barkley. like he does those borderline "dirty" things throughout the game. the new nba with lebron, wade, melo... they just out talent you and they dont do the other stuff. dont get me wrong the nba is a very physical game, but the "old school" nba was definately dirtier and a lot more physical
