Yes, think about it you have Harris and Marcus, we have 2 good young bigs in Sean and Josh, VC is showing some good signs of value, if we make the playoffs we're trying not to quit and go series by series, we do have a chance be it slim but we do have a chance in the East. Now if the Nets miss the playoffs we'll be picking around 11, thank god the West is so GOOD.

    think about it

FOR THE 11TH PICK THE NJ NETS SELECT

    RUSSEL WESTBROOK
    DONTE GREENE
    ROY HIBBERT
    HASHEEM THABEET
    DEANDRE JORDAN

would that be a bad thing ? [IMG]

No, we have ZERO chance in the East; nein. Heck we've got a zero percent chance to make it out of the first round. The best thing for the franchise is a high lottery pick.

The Celtic's would still probably win. Otherwise I could see Cleveland beating us or Detroit destroying us.

    Fighting Chance or Taking Chances
March 23, 2008, 10:50 am The Nets woke up Sunday tied with the Pacers for ninth place in the Eastern Conference, a game and a half behind Atlanta with 11 to play. If they don’t make the playoffs, it will be the first time since 2001 … and a huge disappointment for the team and most fans. New blogger Sean Dugan makes the argument for playing to win while Net Income looks at what the Nets’ chances are in the lottery.

Jordan and CDR? Where do I sign?

lmao, the Nets have ZERO chance against boston, boston will sweep us and win each game 20 plus. ZERO chance of winning a series, marcus will look worse under playoff pressure, boone might disappear again like last year and vc has struggled the last two playoff years and is playing with a bad ankle and is just NOW starting to play like he earned a contract, this team has NO chance. its gonna suck if we do make the playoffs because we'ree get swept on national TV (everyone wants to watch the Celtics play) and play two homes games in front of a half full arena with a sound machine, no playoffs please

Hell no I don't want any of those guys you mentioned! O.J. Mayo damnit! We have enough bigs, if O.J. comes out he can come off the bench for a lil until VC is done and replace whoever is injured. We need a franchise player and that's Mayo. Even though we don't need a point guard at all, Sean Singletary will be the steal of the draft. He reminds me so much of Chris Paul and he'll probably drop into the 2nd round. I say If we don't make the playoffs, With our first pick we go Mayo - second pick we go Courtney Lee, and with our Second Round pick take Singletary or a rights to a European Project.

    Mayo
    Courtney Lee

    Pekovic

That'd be a dream draft*, but I think there's a great chance that each player gets picked right ahead of us.

*"Dream Draft" allowed to change at my whim.

beasley is not gna fall to 10 or 11 and oj mayo would be great for us think now we can trade vince and rj by 2010 and then sign lebron and still have enuff money for a great bench and have devin and a smarter marcus with great role players. thats a championship team with how this league is changing.
