So, we're closing in on the end of the season and (somehow) still in the playoff picture. So, I'm curious as to what you people would rather have. Would you rather us be in the lottery or make the playoffs.

I'm all for the lottery at this point. With how good the upcoming draft class could be, why not? We could very well get someone who can come in and help us immediately, as long as Pax doesn't screw up this draft (here's looking at you Noah).

Also, what's the point of making the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed? We'd likely get swept by both Detroit or Boston, making us basically irrelevant in the playoffs. I'd rather get a pick in the lottery if that's the case.

    Lottery for me.

I don't see any value to getting hammered in 4 games by Boston.

The draft isn't looking like a great one, but it's a chance at a better player.

For me, the lottery really depends on how many of those top freshman declare. It's got potential to have the likes of Love, Beasley, Mayo, etc., which is pretty good if you ask me.

Bulls are in a though situation, cause of the possiblilty of Deng and Gordan leaving, they might not know what to look for in the draft. IMO you keep Noah, Gooden, Huges, and try to resign Deng, and in the draft look a big, a DeAndre Jordan has a good chance of falling to the tenth spot, he's a project, but if he can develop into a Bynum-type center, it might be worth it. Or you can look at a Eric Gordan who can be a dynamic scorer from day 1. Then you trade Thomas and Hinrich to try to fill another needs, maybe more draft picks.

If we get a lotto pick, I don't want Eric Gordon. I know he'd be a fan favorite and all, but he's no different than Ben Gordon. He's a scorer and not much else. Beyond that, much like Ben, he's also undersized. If we're getting a guard, I'd rather look at Augustine, Collison, Rose, Mayo, Chalmers, Rush, etc. None of them might have the ceiling of Gordon, but none of them are undersized for their position either.

And personally, I want to go big this draft again. If he's around, I wouldn't mind getting Tyler Hansborough, He'd come in day one and be the best post player we have. He's a strong body with good post moves, a nice touch around the rim, he can hit the mid-range jump shot and he's also a reliable free throw shooter. Kevin Love is also another big that comes to mind, but if he's there I'd be shocked. Also, Roy Hibbert would be quite nice as well. At 7'3", he'd give us a great defensive presence and he's also got a good offensive game (GTowns coach is just an assclown and didn't use him enough).

I haven't seen much of Love, but he's very much in the same category to me as Hansbrough.

Is that a good thing or bad thing to be in that category? Personally, I'd love either of them if we can get them.
