Used to be a big South Park fan but they lost me a few seasons ago. Don't know if I just grew out of it or if it actually got worse. Looking back, I still think a lot of the episodes form a few seasons back are epic. The last few seasons though, its just mostly them being "preachy" (quote directly from the show) and trying to make fun of random events going on in the world. It seems so forced now though. Or maybe it just got old. Don't know but it just doesn't do it for me anymore.
I don't see how they got Britney by making her lose her head. That's just gross really. I'm not commenting on the show in general or anything, just this episode.
I think they were trying to "get" society's treatment of these stars, and the way we follow them so closely, and unnecessarily. I kind of like the 'preachy' stuff, its a great "F-You" to a lot of liberal propaganda. See also: Penn and Teller.
The episode where Cartman gets Aids is funny. im not just positive, im HIV Positive. Also the one where Randy says the N word on Wheel of Fourtune is great.
