<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>It’s called ”the Curse of Thorn”, the sudden dive former Nets often take once they decide they want out of New Jersey. Ask Kenyon Martin, Kerry Kittles, and now Jason Kidd. With Kidd struggling in Dallas, Thorn was asked about his former point guard. “Sometimes you want something and just want it so much,” said a philosophical Thorn. “Then you get it and it doesn’t turn out the way you thought it would.”</div>

Don't throw Kittles in with those other guys. He didn't want out like they did. Kmart would've probably stayed too, if we signed him for the ridiculous amount he was asking for. But they did both fall to injuries. Don't get on Rod's bad side.

I could be wrong, but I could have sworn that K-Mart said a few months after signing with the Nuggets that he would have taken less money to stay with the Nets, but we never offered him anything. Am I crazy or did this really happen?
