Bowen is the dirtiest player ever. I don't know how this guy has gotten away with half the shit he's done. I'd love for someone to just kick his ass...like, to have do something to Ray Allen again, and have Garnett come over and just level his bitch ass; or for him to do something to Kidd or Howard and have Magloire knock his ass into the stands.

Bowen is a disgrace to the league.

They suspended Kobe for unnatural basketball motions or something like that....tell me in those videos, how many of those were all natural basketball motions. Not those kicks...I block shots with my hands not my high roundhouse kick

I would sign Bruce Bowen to a long term contract, and not play him, just so I could have the pleasure of of knowing I'll never see him in the NBA again.

Other than the dirt, you cannot deny he is one of the games top defensive players.

The reason he is a "top defender" is because he plays dirty. The pompous ass does a lot of jersey grabbing and plays more physical than what is really allowed. I have no clue how he gets away with the shit he does. Him and James Posey really have a toss up for the dirtiest player in the game. I think sometimes those two forget they're playing basketball and that they're not in the WWE.

its because he's on the spurs and they have built him a reputation of being a good defender so no way he gets called for being a goon.

He isn't a great defender because he's dirty, he's a great defender because his work ethic is off the charts.

Whatever, I just want more people to take a shot at him. Fans from other teams wouldn't care if he was Hakeem Olajuwon on defense, he's obnoxious.

Who cares about his work ethic. Big whoop, he's still a cheap shot prick. I don't care how good on defense he is, he's still a cheap prick that plays absolutely dirty, and denies it every time the topic is brought up.

if you watch him play defense, he is truly knows how to stick to his man, yet at the same time his tactics on some plays have always gone hardly unnoticed as "dirty" by the league, which is total BS imo. For example, he intentionally sticks his foot out on jump shooters in order to roll their ankles. And honestly, it's just not him getting away with BS. i wouldnt be surprised if players are afraid to shoot near him. A defensive maneuver? Sure, intimidation and fear of injury can be seen as defense, but guess ****ing what? Such tactics should be punished in this new, "cleaner" NBA. Remember when the Sun and Spurs played in the playoffs and the Spurs got off light? Even though their players caused the mess. I don't give a shit if they acted sympathetic in the post game. What they did in the game cannot be looked at lightly.

Bullshit. He's a dirty player, with a bias from refs because he's built a "reputation" of being a "great defender". He's nearly ended careers with his attempts at injuring players. In that whole Suns series, everyone saw how much bullshit him (and even some of his teammates) get away with. It's pretty ridiculous.

Also, if he had such good "work ethic", he'd probably be a better free throw shooter. So I don't buy that all that much, either.

Bowen's a walking rebuttal against people who long for the "good ole days" of NBA basketball. I'm not saying that I like how games are officiated and rules are enforced these days, but that doesn't necessarily mean we should take back to the '80's. As dirty as he is, Bowen wouldn't even stand out back then.
