So if the Roy Jones Jr. vs. Anderson Silva boxing match does go down, we now have somebody willing to cross-promote with the UFC: Don King. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>In a story that has gained a lot of steam over the past couple of weeks courtesy of MMAWeekly, Roy Jones Jr. and Anderson Silva now has boxing promoter Don King jumping into the fray according to Tatame. Anderson Silva was quoted as saying, “Don King [has] contacted the UFC to do the promotion of this fight”.</div> Don King is one of boxing's biggest heroes and villains at once. He's probably responsible for half of what you hate about boxing and half of what you love about it. But at the end of the day he is a spectacular promoter who will get endless attention for this fight--should it ever transpire. Dana White's suspicious silence over the issue leads me to believe he is hoping the athletic commission rejects it and the idea dies without him ever having to say 'no.'

I hate him!</div> Haha That's like blaming the bullet for killing JFK. I think I'm one of the few that actually wants this fight to happen. But that could be rooted in my irrational belief that Anderson Silva is invincible.
The bullet did kill JFK! It sure wasn't a fist! LOL I would love to see this fight as well. Without mountained haired DON KING. Great promoter, evil as hell!
