<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Toronto Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo recently cut short a scouting trip in Europe to return to Toronto. Colangelo is deeply concerned about the way the Raptors are playing and didn't feel comfortable being away while his team struggled.

The 35-35 Raptors have lost two straight and eight of their past 10 and are in danger of dropping below the .500 mark (they play host to the veteran Detroit Pistons tomorrow night) for first time since Nov. 24, when they fell to 6-7.

"I would say concerned is the best way to describe it," Colangelo said from his Toronto office yesterday. "I think everybody is doing a bit of soul-searching and trying to get back on track and pick up some momentum going into the playoffs."</div>

Damn, I was cool as long as BC was cool.

I'm just going to hold my finger over the panic bottom, you guys let me know when I should push it.

I was I could go on a scouting trip to Europe. Of course, I'd come back with some sexy eastern block ladies but I never said I be scouting ballers.

Unless he can come back and give this team a heart transplant, I don't think canceling his European tour is a difference maker.

I don't think there's anything Colangelo can do at this point, but I'm guessing he wants a closer look and a better read on this roster so he knows what's necessary for next season.

(I'm secretly hoping he realizes how bad a coach Smitch can be at times).

    Uh-oh.
    BLOW UP THE ROSTER!
    We are totally boned.
We are going to miss the play-offs, worse yet, play the Pistons. Or the Celtics.
