Boone was terrific, Jigga, but this was Devin Harris' best game ever.

Mark Cuban pooped his pants watching this game.

Devin Harris 15 assists. Didn't see that coming. He gets my game ball.
Lame ball? None really. Total team effort IMO.

The 15 assists look good, but I suspect its deeper than that: command of the offense? scoring ability? defense, and hustle?

Let's just say this.

Have you seen Chris Paul control games and make decent players look like All-Stars?

That's what Devin Harris looked like in this game.

Devin is for real. Great game, very poised, timely, versatile, and controlled.

To those who wanted to trade him this summer before he ever played his first game for the Nets, if he finishes the season as well as he's played the last 5 games, the only PG I'd trade him for is Chris Paul. There's no way of knowing where his ceiling is when he's setting career highs every other game, and I'd rather assume that he will keep improving as he gets more and more freedom and confidence.

I guess someone had to find a reason to trash Frank.

The reality is that in spite of all the crap that Frank has had to take for not developing young players, he has had the key role in the development of the most important young player on the Nets: Devin Harris. By letting him play his game in ways that Avery Johnson would never permit, Frank has given the Nets present and future a real boost.

Who would you have inserted Sean Williams for? Boone? Diop? Krstic?

Enough.

i feel your pain. i was pissed that stro didn't get to play because the way devin was playmaking i could just see the highlight dunks and lobs happening in my head. watching boone get all those easy layups made me wish stro was in there really bad.

Game ball: Boone - he dominated them.
Lame ball: Krstic - did not go inside much, stayed outside.

I'm watching the replay right now, a minute to go in the 1st. Devin just hit a 3, and then went on to hit a layup. Amazing.

Very true... playing way better than he did in Dallas. Will be curious to see where his ceiling is.

Wish there was more defense from the whole team. The guy is a good defender so there is no reason this team can't play better defense. It's not like we inserted Nash into our lineup.

How about 4 guys with over 20 points?? And Nachbar had 18. When's the last time that happened? Probably the Phoenix game last year. This team is getting fun to watch. I wish we could always play the Hawks and Pacers and Bucks.

That's the problem. These teams are all shitty defensive teams. Unless the Nets get serious about defending they will get killed by the first team with good defense. They can't play like the Suns or Warriors. They don't have the shooters.
