I can get over the fact that there is a Leastern Conference because it makes the NBA Season more entertaining for fans of teams in the Western Conference. But they should just do away with these divisions! The Lakers, Spurs, and Rockets are all virtually tied at 49-33 in the standings. The Spurs and the Rockets currently hold the tie breaker over the Lakers, but the Lakers are still guaranteed the third seed because they lead their division. That puts the Spurs in the 5th seed rather than the 3rd seed because the Rockets have the tie breaker over the Spurs. Some of you may not see this as a problem, but Utah's last two games are against the Rockets and the Spurs accordingly. If they wanted to play the Rockets in the first round rather than the Spurs, all they would have to do is beat the Rockets and lose to the Spurs purposely. The soonest the Jazz could meet the Spurs would be the WCF, which is total BS. That is total BS! Rather than playing Denver or Goldenstate in the first round (there is a good chance Dallas will fall out) they have to play the 3rd best team in the west. The NBA should not wait until next season to fix this!
