More offense should have went to Boone. Like Jizzy said, he owns the Pacers so why not feed him more balls?

Here's the answer: A lot of foolish Nets fans spent a lot of their time early in the season trashing Boone, saying he wouldn't make it, etc., etc.. Now that he is developing into one of the league's better young power forwards (give me a list of PF's 23 and under who are better), desperate man do desperate things like post this intellectually dishonest item. We are also witnessing this same phenomenon with those who criticized Frank for not developing young talent. They are now looking for ways to get around Boone's development and Harris' development, desperately looking to find some poor "rationale" to get around the more simple, more elegant explanation: they were wrong. Boone, 23, is averaging a near double double since he began starting for the team 49 games ago. He has more double-doubles than any player chosen in the 2006 draft, more than Aldridge, Thomas, Milsap, Armstrong, Bargnani, etc., etc. If you're a Net fan, you should be thrilled the team was able to draft and develop a player of his caliber at #23.
I agree with everything that was said above^ , but in order for our frontcourt to REALLY do some damge we need a legitimate post scorer who demands double teams, that would open alot of space for boone to do even better and the rest of the players.
I'd love to get to the point where Boone is coming off the bench, with Williams and Krstic are starting. But that's not happening this season, and probably not next. At this moment, he is our best big man.
Krstic shouldnt be in the NBA. hes be better off in europe. Trade him i know we can get a good deal back for him. I know he can shoot ( sometimes) but he is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too soft for the nba and gets outmuscled outhustled every time and its so sad and annoying. And cant even finish strong at the rim, he misses layups and gets blocked by smaller players all the time (stack) I lost hope, its time to move on. Trade him or deal wit his situation, i dont want him starting next year not even off the bench.
Boone is good BUT he's never going to control a game. He's like a taller more athletic version of David Lee. I'd absolutly love to see him develope some moves but at teh same time im content with him being a solid double double machine that plays good Def. if we can get a low post scorer to play next to him

I find it amazing that people think that Boone isn't a starter in this league... Realistically he may never be a dominant scorer...that being said he still could be an extremely dominant big man. It's his second year, but it's more of a rookie season considering his lack of PT due to injury and coaches decisions last season. He is 23 years old and is averaging 10.25 pts and 8.43 rebounds in his 49 starts thus far and has continued to show flashes of further potential development. Lets say he decides to model his game after Ben Wallace...he works harder on his defensive game and focuses even harder on rebounding while just maintaining his scoring numbers...would you consider him to be a player that is dominant then? So what if he'll never average more than 14 points a game in in career? That's not a big deal...I'll take 12 points 11 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game from him for the next 9 years... Also for the record...Ben Wallace never averaged over 6 points a game until his 5th season when he went to the Pistons and he never averaged over 9 rebounds until his 5th season as well.
