ok, we might not lose the next one in Sac-Town since the Spurs loss was a blow out. That was the reality check we needed to get our defense back and running before the playoffs start.

I knew the Kidd trade would slow Dallas enough to fall out of the playoffs [IMG] From 67 wins to first round knockout all the way down to the lottery!

I was thinking if we did want to play Denver in the first round (KMart is the x-factor with that midrange jumper), we should see where we stand before we play Phoenix. If Denver beats Utah on the 12th, they will have the tiebreaker against the Jizz.

So, if we beat Phoenix, we should let Denver beat us, and then beat the Jazz to make sure Denver gets that 4th seed.

    This conference is tough.

I thought getting blown out by San Antonio and Phoenix would wake us up defensively. It sucks to lose a game like this to a team that isn't even in the playoff hunt. I knew Sacramento would steal this one if we didn't bring out our defense. I think Luther should have been guarding Kevin Martin. All those damn foul calls and that kick ball, ugh.

I just hope I am right about my original prediction and that we can get out of our slump before the playoffs. Deke can't cover up all the defenive holes that Yao did, so it has to be a team effort to keep players out of the lane.

Checking in here, what's up guys?

    Here's my 2 cents.

    @ LA Clippers - W
    vs Seattle - W
    vs Phoenix - W
    @ Denver - W
    @ Utah - L
    vs LA Clippers - W

Pretty bold, I know, but the way we played in the second half against Phoenix last time bodes well and we've pretty much owned Denver all season. With a stroke of luck we could even go undefeated the rest of the way.
