Shaq on who should win MVP: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"The Kobester," he said, referencing his old teammate and occasional foil, Kobe Bryant of the Lakers. "He's an assassin, with LeBron [James] coming in right behind. After that, I really haven't been paying attention."</div> http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/ce...d_its_a_big_no/ Read the whole article if you get a chance. His take on Garnett is rather, amusing....
The Lobster only doesn't want KG for MVP because he has Stoudamire on his team, and he wants Stoudamire to win, but no way Stoudamire will win having the Big Lobster and Nash on his team.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"Garnett doesn't play defense," Shaq said.</div> Does this guy even watch Garnett play?
What's the reason for Boston's great defensive turnaround this year compared to last year, if Garnett doesn't play defense?

It's realistically only between Paul and Kobe and I'd take Kobe because.. How many games has Paul played without David West? 7, compared to Kobe who has played 52 games without Pau! Chandler has been healthy all year, Bynum has been injured for 36 games this season. Paul has played most of his games with all of the big three and has had an easier strength of schedule, Kobe has not played a game yet with all of his big three. Face it, Kobe has had the worst teammates yet they're teams have won nearly even. For that reason, Kobe is MVP.
I agree with Shaq. Kobe has kept this team afloat through all sorts of injury issues and allowed Gasol to seamlessly come into the Lakers lineup.
