http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ I think we should put together S2 shows on this site. Maybe do one or two a week. I think it'd be a great way for our members to interact and match a voice to a name. If a couple of our members would be willing to "host" these, while others call in (you can have a few people on the air at once), I think it could be successful and a lot of fun. The host just posts his link and you call the *toll free* number provided at the top of the page. When you scroll down, there is a running chat room as well. I think it'd be best to have more than just one host, preferably 2. The hosts must be active and consistent with it, or it'll fail. Set dates and times for the show with a bit of a plan as to what to discuss. Again, you have to be reliable and it'd also be nice to have the host(s) be suited for the position. It wouldn't be good to just have someone say "I want to do it!" just for the sake of doing it, then pulling a "uhhh, what should we talk about" while they are on the air. Obviously it's out of line to ask for the likes of a professional broadcaster, but a relatively charismatic member or two who will provide more than dead air. Anybody up for it?
thats what we need, some hosts maybe have a tuesday program hosted By ______________ and a thursday hosted by _________________
Part of the charm of this kind of show could be that our hosts sound like ordinary joes (vs. professional voices). My $.02
I don't care if they sound like Marv Albert or not, I just want a couple of people who are reliable, consistent, and won't just "wing it" every time and sound unsure of what they're doing.
I'll consider it. It would be an interesting thing to try. And I agree with mnfl, Jigga and KC would be funny.
haha i did a radio show in high school until I got my FCC license suspended Unfortunately I don't have enough time. Plus if anyone needs to know what I think about Nets basketball just read the board whenever I drop knowledge.
