Warriors are coming alive, but Baron Davis is playing with the flu bug. It's an okay game so far. Got to see Brandan Wright and Biedrins play together at the same time. It sucked that Brandan Wright got dunked on by Martell Webster, but welcome to the nba kid. Every rook gets dunked on until they are aware of which shots to challenge and which shots to avoid being in the poster. BTW the announcer next to Doug Collins doesn't know Al Harrington (Is it Kevin Harlon?). "He plays bigger than his size..." Yeah right. He's a pretty weak finisher inside and he's got these small hands for his size. His big heart, however, allows him to continue working to finish the play and get those AHOR (Al Harrington Offensive Rebounds). I dunno about that comment because he's 6'9, 240 pounds, whereas a guy like Jrich, Gerald Wallace, or Shawn Marion are smaller, lighter players that can operate at smaller sizes because of their hops, balance, quickness, long wingspan, and huge hands. Harrington's a bit of a stiff, but I guess you can't complain about him too much because without him, we have no other legit 3 point shooter on this team. Croshere/Pietrus/Baron doesn't count because they're all too inconsistent. When they miss, they often times miss very badly. Then he mentions Harrington's 3 point shooting ability and his role in last season's Dallas playoff series. Harrington was struggling in those games as was Ellis. I guess maybe his 3 point shot was helpful, but overall he wasn't shooting very well from the field... so I dunno if he was memorable. Baron/Jrich/Sjax and Barnes were probably more memorable. The Sjax/Barnes defense switching off on Dirk was incredible. Harrington is playing well, though. I just get annoyed when he struggles because he doesn't do much else if he isn't rebounding. He's just too selfish with the ball at times.
I've come to the conclusion that Harrington is a carbon copy of Derek Fisher but like 7 inches taller. Both good 3 pt shooters, both horrible finishers at the rim, both take shots they shouldn't, both flop and draw tons of charges, both bald.

Harrington is a good locker room presence like Fisher, though. He's a plus in that aspect. He's got a lot of skills that largely go unused because he's not matching up well against either forward spot. Harrington just has the qualities that I don't like in some tweeners, mainly big men that play more finesse than setting the tone inside the paint. BTW I gotta check out this game because Belinelli is in the game with Brandan Wright. Empty that bench Nelly!
I knew Croshere was quick for a 6'10 dude, but that dunk he made at the end of the game was athletic. That was the best dunk I've seen him lay down because he had to twist his body for the reverse baseline dunk.

He moves pretty fluidly and made a crisp no-look pass to B-Wright (who missed). Glad he got that 3 to go in
For me, it was nice to see them step on a team's throat for once. I'm telling you, that Laker game was the best thing that could've happened to the Warriors. Guys like Baron, Jackson, and Barnes play much better when they feel as though they've been disrespective. They shouldn't need that type of motivation as making the playoffs should be enough, but I'll take it. Speaking of the Laker game, did anyone see this? Wrong Call - Inside Bay Area
A lot good that apology will do us now. Freakin' Fisher. The refs should punish him. No more drawing charge calls for him! He can flop all he wants, everyone in the league should get to run him over even if he's standing there for a long time. Or even better, the rules no longer apply against Fisher. You can shove him while he's up in the air a la NBA Jam tournament edition.
