The latest in a string of Raiders' off-season purchases is expected to receive a two-year deal for $5 million. Edwards' six-year career has been notable for its incredible inconsistency. He can look like a potential sack leader one week and be riding the bench a week or two later. For now, he's the favorite to start at right end, ahead of second-year DL Jay Richardson.</div>

Nice signing for depth. We fill yet another hole and again clueless as to who Al wants to draft. Although the quality isn't spectacular, we have depth on the D-Line with Burgess, Richardson, Edwards, Kelly, Warren, Sands, Joseph. We have 3 nice RBs in Fargas, Rhodes, and Bush. Jake Long is a possibility but would he be there when we pick? How does he fit into the zone blocking scheme?

I still think we probably go with McFadden, C. Long, and if neither is there then Gholston. Trading down wouldn't be a bad idea though.

Yeah, I was just kind of like whatever when Edwards was announced. If we take McFadden, it had better be with the intention of trading him to the Cowboys for as many draft picks as we can squeeze out of them.
