All i have to say is that Diops D hasnt blown me away, a good example last nite agaisnt the pacers at indy. And the other thing that happens when diop goes in is that our offensive flow goes down to the gutter for some reason when hes in. Im a doubter if we should resign him. It depends on who we pick come draft day.

You have to give him more tme in practice and at the gym. He is very talented and has potential to become an amare type player. You dont just give that up easily because its hard to find. Maybe he has hit rookie wall but he will be back next season at least 10 times better. Bottom line is he needs time to bulk up and develop.
I wouldn't mind letting Diop go. If this team is truly turning into an up-tempo, high scoring team, then he really has no role. I know some people think that he would be of use in the playoffs against the Duncans and Dwight Howards, but I'd rather the Nets spend the money on a pure shooter, and hope that Boone and Williams bulk up.
Diop is essential! We can't just get rid of quality post defenders and rebounders, especially young ones. Plus for what reason? Because we hope that Sean and Boone can eventually become this player we need?
i'm not trying to cause any arguments here, but why some of you are so high on diop i have no idea. the guy does more bad than good for the nets most games. the guy struggles to drop the ball in the basket from 2 feet away.

You wouldn't trade a pothead for an all-star? We'll see about the Amare type player stuff... On coach Frank, at least he knows that Swift is more talented but I never thought that he would play Swift and Williams together in the first place so I'm not surprised.
Me neither. Diop is just a big body. He plays decent D and can block shots sometimes. but thats all u get. nothing else. he is replaceble

Swat is only 20 years old and needs time to develop like all young players do. And swift is not more talented than Swat. And they cant play together because they are the same players, so then it comes down to whos better? The obvious pick would be sean williams, and thats why swift is in the doghouse

B: stro has had ONE problem with a coach and/or teammate in his 8 year career. ONE. he doesn't "always start shit." sean got booted from college for smoking pot. that's worse than anything swift has ever done. i don't consider either of them a problem shild.

When people say that they are similar players it doesnt mean that their talent level is the same. It mean that their physique & atributes are the same.
