<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>According to multiple league sources, the Nets were "very close" to completing a three-team trade that would have landed Lamar Odom from the Lakers while sending Richard Jefferson to the Bobcats. The Lakers, in turn, would have received Gerald Wallace from Charlotte.</div> </p>

I would have hated to see RJ go but Odom would have been amazing on the Nets. Even if he is inconsistent.</p>

RJ for Odom? I don't know, Odom has a tendency to wilt that RJ doesn't show, he's way more consistent, and they're on the same level anyway.

Odom would have been a really nice peace for this team. He can grab some rebounds and has decent ball handling skills for a player of his size. He could have been a nice complement to VC but I'm not sure if we would really been upgrading over RJ.
