Didn't see the game, but Biedrins got 6 of 6 at the foul line? Nice!

    LOL at Dampier.

Nice to see Monta and Baron with only 1 turnover between them, after 9 the previous night.

Again disappointed we didn't see Wright get time, oh well, I don't know why I keep expecting it with Nellie. Yeah, he wants "experience", how is the kid going to get any if he doesn't play? I guess it's possible that playing him could cost them a game or two, but The Warriors have lost plenty of games this year where the regular starters have logged big minutes, it didn't help them then. I think one of the reasons Andris and Monta are where they are today is from getting some time under Monty. Maybe it wasn't quality time, but it was playing time against real NBA players. You can't learn everything by observing.

Dampier has no heart, that's what happened.

Baron and Ellis were really impressive in the highlights. Ellis to Beans may become a thing of beauty. There's really some fine chemistry between the 2 because they understand how and when to cut.

Hirez, I'm also really annoyed with Nelly. He's never been particularly fond of post player big men and especially rookies with his small ball scheme. But maybe he's got a case with some things that may be wrong with Wright's physical or technical skills game. Maybe it's also about what Wright is thinking now as a young player. We don't want Wright to lose confidence or be put in situations he's not ready for. Not everyone is going to be as composed, humble, or aggressive as Monta and Biedrins (2 guys I'm sure would have received more playing time earlier if foul trouble and long distance shooting/turnovers wasn't an issue back then). But anyway, that mental maturity is a really important aspect of basketball. Guys like Azu, Monta, Biedrins seem a lot more ready than most young players. Whereas you get a guy like Wright who seems a bit laid back at times and with POB he's really raw and you don't know if his heart is in it.

I would think Marco has a better chance to play ball since Nelly favors energetic guards that can shoot... But his consistency, defense and inside scoring/rebounding is really tied to his lack of strength and lateral quickness... The guy is amazingly athletic when dunking the ball and quick going off screens, though. He must get tired legs or something when it gets physical, so maybe it's what explanation of why as a shooter he doesn't want to rough it up as much. I would think his balance and coordination should be good enough to make adjustments if he's hit a little. Oh well, here's to hoping we see Belinelli, Monta, Jax, Wright, and Beans at the same time on the floor. That would be mean 3 unselfish guys on the floor, two who can shoot the ball coming off screens and off the dribble, 1 who can shoot very well with the set shot, two shotblockers, two rebounders, two inside scorers who can pass.

Defense would be sketchball though as Baron is the best defender at point guard (when he's trying not to gamble too much) and Azu is a good defender at shooting guard. Ellis and Marco seem pretty weak defensively, always trying to gamble for steals... Wright just looks too weak to do anything in time to stop big players from getting deep position on him. It's similar to Biedrins problem at center, but not a problem for Biedrins at power forward.
