    FG %:

    87%
    40%
    66%
    66%
    72%

    Avg from past 5 games 17/26 = 66%

    So it hasn't just been 1 game, it's been the past 5 that he's been shooting pretty well and just playing better basketball.

    Atleast he's been trying to improve</div>

    Um no, Puke took three shots in two of those games against GSW (not to mention that his PER was pathetic because of the high number of ball possessions) and in another "explosive performance" (72.7%) against SEA, it was in garbage time. He got 17 points in the fourth against their D-League Squad.

    I'm pretty sure his defense has not been close to spectacular either. He sucked against Memphis too. There goes 4 of those 5.
    </div>

    Doesn't matter, percentages are percentages, 17/26 fg is what you have to look at... Let's not talk about individual defense, it's team defense that's the biggest problem and also our boy Kobe's defense has been nonexistant lately. And suprisingly, Luke does well on defense, he has some tough matchups sometimes, and for someone with his athletic skill, he does a fairly good job (LBJ in the post comes to mind)

    Garbage time matters, as do possessions. You're ignoring what's inconvenient for you.

    If you refuse to analyze his performance per game, the garbage points inflates his output.

    He absolutely sucked against GS twice, especially in the overtime game. You sound like someone that hasn't followed our last few games by sticking to this watered down argument.

    I'm not ignoring garbage time, I'm just not holding it against his individual performance, big difference. You're being unfair in that regard, not me.

    No I'm not biased about anything, his per-minute-possession output against GS was absolutely pathetic, an empirical fact.

    The garbage time against SEA proves little to nothing. He certainly appears to suck in that particular game though, if he can't produce in the normal flow.

He has one good game and I'm suppossed to like him again?

    Don't compare me to some LG clown either, I'm quite objective about everything. Puke is an amusing term I shall continue to use.

    Now you're pouting.</div>

    Come down from your high horse....

    You said Luke needs to wake up, and he has, so why not lay off him? These players are role players, so like them, you need to learn your role.
    </div>

    What a hypocrite, get off me. Stop bitching about pouting and then commit the same act.

    Luke has not been just an effective role player this year, he's hurt us.

    You have to be joking. For him to wake up he has to be consistent, not just play well once in a while.
    </div>

    Don't we all need mirrors? lol

    I've been watching the games and you can definitely see a difference in Pu...I mean Luke. So even if we ignore stats, I'm pleased with Luke's play...I like how he's cutting to the basket well and getting easy buckets, getting good lift on his jumpers and following through, etc...

    I think his play continues as his confidence is high right now. I definitely agree with you and don't think we should ignore and forget his sub-par performance thus far in the season, but generally, I like to be optimistic rather than pessimistic, that's just the type of person I am. I'm happy for every Laker that does well, and still support the ones that don't, as long as they don't have a bad attitude (Smush for example).

    I think Farmar comes around too very soon, how soon people forget how well he was playing those two nights he had 20+ points back to back, or, how well he played in that Sophomore game where he could have won MVP if it wasn't for Gibson.. He'll come around, he's a hard worker...I remember in Taft waiting to get picked up and he would be all by himself shooting baskets, that's the kind of worker he is.
