So Carlos Delfino finds an open lane and goes up for a one-handed slam. He puts the ball through the rim but at the bottom of the mesh it hits Emeka Okafor's arm. The ball bounces up and back out through the rim. Unsure if the basket counts, Jamario Moon grabs the rebound and slams it in. So, what do the refs do? They blow the whistle and call the play dead. They claim it was cylinder interference, discount the basket, and award the ball to the Bobcats. WTF?! Sometimes I wish the NBA would go to full-time instant replay because the officials are flat out wrong too often. This play could've changed the make-up of the game.

An uncounted basket in the fourth quarter can radically change a game. Toronto has lost a game before due to officiating/score-keeping errors. The Hawks/Heat had to replay a portion of a game this season for the same reason. Right now the NBA lacks consistency, to put it lightly.

They need to go through better training.
