I can understand why he put CP3 at 1st and brought Kobe down to 3rd following losses to Memphis and Charlotte...

But KG at #2? LOL! LBJ deserves that spot more than him...

Why did they change Mo anyway??? He was already cool... no biases and all. But this guy... clearly he looks like someone who would hate kobe away from the trophy.

This new guy is definetly a moron. Mo has moved on to write for ESPN now. But I didn't like Mo anyways. He was rude (check his mailbag, never a nice answer, even when someone said something nice), and aside from the top 3 or 4 candidates, he kind of arbitrarily assigns the rest.

Kobe shouldn't drop to #3 in my opinion. It's too hard right now to decide the top 3, but it makes sense.

Also remember, this is just one guy's opinion and won't sway anyone else's..

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I know the Kobe cultists will fill the e-mail box, but if you lose at home to Charlotte and Memphis in the same week, you're MVP candidacy will take a serious hit below the belt</div>

Really hard to argue against that to be honest.

    1. CP3's team has #1 seed in the Wild Wild West
    2. KG has changed Boston from the worst team in the league to the best team in the league.. albeit not singlehandedly, but you can't deny the presence and confidence he has brought to that team, let alone the defensive impact he has made. And, his team is on pace for 65 wins this year.
    3. Kobe has fought through injuries all year and has not let anything stop him from getting out there on the floor. He has made his teammates better and has been getting everyone involved. Unlike the Hornets, Kobe's Lakers have gone through numerous injuries and have still kept the lead in their division along with being #1 in the West for several games.

It's up for grabs right now for Kobe.. Now is his time to shine, he needs to will his way to victory no matter what it takes. If Lakers finish with the best record in the West or atleast end the season on a REALLY high note, he should take it.

The sports writers might just end up giving it to Kobe just to shut us up already so we can stop bitching; or they will do whatever it takes to keep the best player in the league from getting the trophy he deserves.

I'm ok with being behind Paul, but not with being behind KG. He's got a pair of All Stars playing around him as well as a slew of solid role players. Kobe's team has been decimated by injuries all year, play in the MUCH tougher Western Conference, yet they're still in a race for the top seed. And again, I've been saying this for weeks, regardless of how good you're doing, I don't think anyone in the East should be able to win the MVP because of how god awful that conference has been.
