I must admit I'm not a fan of the current crop of wrestlers and promotions, but I often recall fond memories of watching and enjoying wrestling. I think having a thread like this might be a good place to reminisce.

If you want to post in this thread you need to make obscure references to wrestling that make you smile when you think of them. Try to come up with one person, one angle or storyline, and one moment, and they don't all need to be related.

Wrestler: The Shockmaster. Look him up on Youtube. Worse than the Gobbledygooker, I promise.
Angle/Storyline: Ric Flair doctors photos to make it look like he had a fling with Miss Elizabeth, culminating at Wrestlemania 7.
Moment: Brian Pillman "shoots" Steve Austin for breaking into his house.

    Wrestler: Brett Hart
Storyline: WWF deciding that the title goes up for grabs in a tournament at WM4. Ted Dibiase, Andre, Hogan...
Moment: When the Honky Tonk Man *thought* that Brutus Beefcake wasn't going to show up for his Intercontinental title match. Silence....then the Ultimate Warrior sprints out to the ring, clotheslines him, and pins him in like 20 seconds. Apparently, they had subbed in Warrior for Beefcake due to injury at a boating accident.

    Beer.

Once the Milk truck came out I knew what was going down, but with the beer truck, it was the first time something like that happened, I didn't know what to expect.

That reminds me of another great era in wrestling:

    Wrestler: "Total Package" Lex Luger

Angle/Storyline: The Four Horsemen (Rick Flair - World Champion, Lex Luger - US Champion, Tully Blanchard&Arn Anderson - Tag Team champs). The horsemen were great. There was so much going on back then. They went rounds with the Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, and others. Cage matches happened often, and there was always blood involved. Luger had Flair submitted in the "torture rack" but the ref stopped the match after about an hour because Luger had blood on his forehead.

Moment: Lex Luger / Barry Windham (the Twin Towers) winning the Tag team title. They seemed pretty unstoppable at the time, until Windham sold him out to the Four Horsemen.
