F*ck Atlanta's scorekeepers, F*ck Sam Mitchell, and F*ck the NBA...

Holy hell I'm f'in' pissed off.

I don't understand how the f*ck those dumbass f'in' Hawks scorekeepers still have a job. This is the second time they've friggin' screwed us over! Its common knowledge that you start the clock on an inbounds play once the player has taken possession of the ball. But they go ahead and start it a millisecond before TJ even touches the ball. Now I know what you might be thinking: its really tough to blame scorekeepers for a fraction of a second. And I'll give you that (even though they've screwed up so many f'in' times at this point, that they no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt). But what about the motherf*cking referees!?! They sat at the booth for a full 5 minutes looking that play over and over and over again. How the f*ck don't they notice that discrepancy in the clock and award the basket? Our dumbass friggin' commentators picked up on that right after the commercial break and you're telling me you can't notice that shit, when its you f'in job? Absolute bullshit.

And the f*cking incompetent scorekeepers and referees aside, what the f*ck is Sam Mitchell doing out there? Friggin' Coach of the Year my ass! You're sitting on a 3 pt. lead, with a foul to give, and you don't send your players out foul once Atlanta inbounds the ball? Cut the time down a bit and let them do it over again! And not only that, send them to the f*cking free throw line for two and gain possession of the ball with a one point lead. F*ck me! This ain't the first time I've seen him allow the opposing player to shoot that last second shot either. How friggin' stupid do you have to be to let this happen over and over again?

If you follow the NBA's retarded logic (the Heat-Hawks makeover), we should be given a win here. But of course it won't happen. Instead we'll be saddled with a loss that shouldn't have f*cking happened, and the Hawks organization will have stolen a win from us two seasons in a row. Not only that, but I bet you anything the national media doesn't even pick up on this. F*ck!

dude, calm down i was really pissed to, but were still in the 6th spot, we could have been in 5th (because Wiz lost) and jus relax, dont worry the league WILL fine the refs, because that was a blow, and its just a loss not really a big deal, if it happens again then yea, but I agree with you 100%, SAM IS A HORRIBLE COACH, WHY THE **** WAS DELFINO PLAYING WHEN MOON IS THE SLASHER:S:S? SOOO MANY TIMES MOON WAS WIDE OPEN FOR EASY DUNKS TONITE BUT NEVER GOT THE BALL, SO **** SAM, **** BOSH (COULDNT EVEN MAKE THE LAY UP, AND **** THESE REFS)

Mannn I hate playing in Atlanta, some BS always happens! This was a fun game to watch however until midway through the 4th and overtime because of the way we played. I like Sam Mitchell but I honestly dont believe he is suitable to take this team to the next level, I though Andrea deserved more time on the court today, he was playing great interior defense and was hitting a large percentage of his shots and mixing up his offense alot so why pull him for Rasho in the 4th? Bargnani had the best +/- against ATL too..I just hate the short leash he is on with Sam Mitchell.

 

Damn right on all accounts. Sam Mitchell has the worst plays to close out games, and his substitution patterns are suspect at best. So many times he relies on Bosh and Ford to bail him out.

 

Lakers fans say the same thing about Phil Jacksons' substition patterns. They hate them, they also hate his inability to take timeouts...

 

i was as pissed as the next dude but the only ppl that can be blamed for squandering a 17 second half lead on the five guys on the floor.

there's no way it should have gotten to that point.

I think that's an overstatement. The guy has some issues, however, we don't need to start the SMitch comparisons.

 

I would add F*** THE RAPTORS to the thread name as well. I remember even when they were a horrible team 2-4 years ago I would always be excited to watch them play, right now however I can almost feel the loses coming before the game begins. I honestly cant explain what is wrong with this ballclub, they could probably lose a best of 7 series to the SuperSonics and Knicsk.....well maybe not Knicks.

And when the refs were looking at the play over and over, all they were looking at was weather or not the ball left TJ's hand before the buzzer went off, they cannot look at when the clock started...thats not a reviewable play. Bottom line is that the raptors deserved to lose that game.

Dude, look at the timing of that post. It was right after the game ended when I (and almost every other fan) was pissed as hell and none of that information was out yet. Obviously I've cooled down since then and I don't stand by some of the more extreme things (which is why I haven't posted in this thread since then).

If you want to know where I stand a week or so later, just enlarge the paragraph about Sam Mitchell, limit the other parts to focus strictly on the referee's judgment, and add one about the "un-clutchness" of our best players.
