the nets can get under the cap is swift opts out. thats the reason why he will not play with this team for the rest of the season besides the fact that he's retarded. IMO, swift not playing is a message to him that he will not play here this year or next. it's still unlikely he opts out but damn, plz do it stro. part of me thinks that had something to do for trading him for collins, in hopes he opts out

If was playing and racking up 14 and 10 then he would opt out thinking he could get more.
Nope, he'll do the classic asshole NBA player move - not opt out, stand pat for a couple months, then demand a trade.

im a huge RJ fan... but i still hate how he disappears in the 4th and he thinks hes MJ of the nets... but i love him so much i even wear 24 on my bball team just for him well anyway, if stro opts out, how much are we under the cap? anyway... our biggest problem is frank... im sorry... he needs to go!

Whats the Point in GETTING SWIFT IF YOURE NOT GONNA PLAY HIM. im tellin you. i mean. wow. thats just retarded. im speechless. they brought him to nj (which is bad enough) in order for him to sit in the bench while watching kristic play no defence and run 1.583 mph. they better fire frank + staff to get a fast-paced team i cant stand switching for matchups, getting a lead at halftime and blowing it in the 3rd and finding our selves trying to come back in the 4th but fail miserably

Stro makes a little less than Twin per season. Additionally, with Stro having a player option, there is the slimmest of chances that the Nets could convince him to opt out. Trading for Stro was never about giving him playing time with the Nets

The savings is minimal, while Thorn has been rumored to have looked at him in the draft, than rumored he would be offered a MLE type deal the season following KMart's departure. -Petey
