<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Mitch Kupchak doesn't anticipate making any drastic moves this offseason, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"We won't be in the free-agent market for a significant star player," Kupchak said. "We're looking for a veteran who can maybe play 15 minutes a night."

The acquistion of Pau Gasol at midseason pushed the Lakers well past the luxury tax threshold.</div>

Good. I like the roster the way it is right now (when everyone gets healthy). I don't really think we need any more big changes to be honest. Give this roster one offseason to work together, one training camp to get aquainted, and we'll be unstoppable. Our number one priority this offseason should be to retain our free agents: Vujacic, Turiaf, and Dacos. With everyone signed, we really don't have an extra roster spot. Sun Yue will be coming this offseason, and we have two second round picks (we get Charlotte's pick from Rush trade). Still, if a good trade comes up, I'm sure Mitch will pull the trigger. Also, I'm pretty sure we'll see Lamar's name floating around this offseason. His 15 million expiring deal should command some interest.

"We're looking for a veteran who can maybe play 15 minutes a night."

^ This is an interesting quote though. I guess we'll be looking for a veteran for cheap

Juan Carlos Navarro, dude came to play with Pau. He seems pretty decent.

We should probably add some PG depth. Nothing expensive though.

Fish is getting older and Farmar needs to be kept in check.

Navarro took a major pay cut to play with Pau, I think. I wonder if he'd except the MLE to come play here with Pau, again. That lineup would be absolutely sick.

WHEN healthy, the only weakness we have on this team is point guard defense. Juan Carlos Navarro wouldn't help us. He's a pretty good shooter, but from what I've heard, he doesn't play a lick of defense. Maybe if Sasha signs with someone else this offseason, we could give him a look, otherwise, I want Mitch to bring in a defensive minded point guard who can actually stop penatration.

Well that's the ideal case, but simply getting an efficient and healthy PG for the Triangle would be fine enough with me (don't want to get too picky). If we get some more depth for Bynum that wouldn't hurt either; Pau tends to get pounded a bit on the inside.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind JCN, don't get me wrong. He can really shoot the ball, and I think he will fit well in the triangle, but if we can get a good, solid defender at the point guard spot for the same amount of money, we'd better do it.
