Barack Obama has plans to replace the White House bowling alley with a basketball court, if he's elected in November.

"There's not only a chance (that he'll have one built), but it's a guarantee," Obama said Monday on WFNI 1070 The Fan.

    The candidate described himself as "a slasher, a three, maybe a poor man's <u>Scottie Pippen</u> or <u>Tayshaun Prince</u> -- a guy like that without as much talent."</div>

He's got my vote. Haha. Just kidding. I just thought this was a lil funny.

I'd love to see him play basketball. Says here:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>He talked about his days as a high school player in Hawaii, where his team won the 1979 state championship.</div>
I wonder how good he is. Says on IMDB he's 6'1.5

He plays basketball as a mini-ritual before a lot of primaries IIRC.

I would like it when the championship team comes to the white house instead of the meet and greet, actually play a game and obama can be one of the players

Not far from the Swimming Pool, the White House basketball court has been used for decades for occasional games by presidents and their staffs and families. George HW Bush installed a horseshoe pit next to it.
