I voted Jay-Z because that lucky bastard just got $150mm from Live Nation and he barely tours and keeps claiming he's never recording again! Van Horn was a close 2nd. Pretty damn lucky too.

Most player-representatives have been young franchise players fairly new to the team as of late (At least that's my perception). To this end Devin Harris is a good fit, as he is our new leader (PG), and already has earned himself the affection of the Nets community. Except for Cpaw who hates, and hates, and hates [/THE DADDY] lol You can't go wrong with Jay-Z, although I would think he'd be a better fit on the lottery before our move to Brooklyn, to help garner attention for the rebirth of our franchise, and at the very least get the media talking about Lebron.
I believe Steve Francis was there in 2002 when Houston won it, and Brandon Roy was there in 2007 when Portland won it. So I think Devin Harris would be a good choice.
I pick Jay-Z, who might be the luckiest man on the earth. If that guy isn't the winner of the life lottery, then who the hell is? And I want the national media to make him the person most closely associated with the franchise. That's good for drawing free agents. I can't think of any in particular where that would help but I'm sure there are some.

The governor was like 5 rows in front of us and wasn't paying attention at all to the game. Only time I've ever sat in the lower bowl at CAA, aside from some old Seton Hall games.
