Carter is going ta try harder next year, this year therer is the ankle problem and kidd problem. Not to find excuses, cause i know he can always perform better than he does normally. His new "leadership" role has caused him to set up others more and rebound more, thts also due to not scoring as much. 24,6,5 are good predictions.

Lets just pray RJ makes it one day
Asside from the numbers though. Do you guys think he'll have his explosiveness back and be a game changer? When he had that cortizone shot he did seem to have more bounce. Does anyone know what kind of surgery it is though? Is it quick and easy or is he gonna have to rehab it all through the offseason? Anyway, I pray he comes back with a chip on his shoulder and goes 04-05 VC on the whole league and has an extremely awkward interview with Magic Johnson after he said Vince isn't a superstar anymore. I also hope he teabags Kidd on the way to the rim in the 09 Finals as we sweep them.

People just didn't get that VC wasn't a product of Kidd in New Jersey. Aside from injuries one of the biggest problems for Vince and the Nets this year was Lawrence Frank tried to make Vince more of an off the ball player but that just isn't his style. When Vince has the ball he really makes his teammates better too because teams know if they don't double Vince he can have a huge night so they double him but he's an excellent passer too. Not only is he an excellent passer and a scoring threat he's also unselfish. As far as his numbers next year one thing I think is almost a lock is he will average a career high in rebounds with Kidd gone for a full season.
I doubt he can average up near 30ppg. In his prime he was averaging 24-27ppg I don't see him all the sudden becoming the scoring champion and MVP..

Grow up Peter Pan, Count Chocula Vince over the last 18 games Vince has averaged 23.94 points There is no way in hell he averages over 24 points next season. Especially when you consider the fact that Devin and Marcus will average almost 15 pts more from the PG position than in previous years with Jason Kidd and the trio of Sean Williams, Josh Boone and Nenad Krstic will account for more points from the frontcourt than we've had since Kmart. 23-24 points MAX.

i know 12 games does not equal a whole season. look how easily he is averaging that though through those 12 games. and he could easily get more. he still goes through stretches where he doesnt score for like 6 minutes. i dont agree with the rest of your post.

23ish is reasonable, on the whole I expect him to be in better condition, and be more perpared to lead the team. I don't see it being a great season thouug
