Hmm card looks pretty decent, I am interested to see how sokoudjou does. He was so hyped coming in that last time I saw him and he showed some amazing strength and some potential but he ended up losing.
I still don't know much about UFC, but from the names of the fighters, the card looks pretty stacked? Wanderlei, Tito, Penn, Sherk, Jardine, Lyoto, Sokoudjou. You more experienced fans think this is going to be a good card?
It should be a really good card. The top three matches will be really interesting and Wilson/T. Silva are both hard-hitting LHW's who should put on a show.

Penn vs Sherk is going to be a war and BJ has been taking shit about Sherk so it's gonna be great. Everyone is discounting Sherk but I think he's going to make a fight of it. I think Keith Jardine is going to find out why they call Wand "the Axe Murder".... if Chuck clocked him for 3 straight rounds with his strikes and couldn't put him to sleep, I don't like Jardine's chances... dang the UFC is really stepping up and putting together great shows. I hope my man Ivan Salaverry makes it on as filler for the televised show!
Penn, Tito, and Wandy will all come out victorious! wow, the main events are sick! I'm just missing this show in Vegas my a couple days! Im so upset I wont be out there in time.

Are you kidding me? these three main fights alone are worth the price of admission! 155-lbs: Sean "The Muscle Shark" Sherk [c] vs. BJ "The Prodigy" Penn 205-lbs: "Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz vs. Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida 205-lbs: Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva vs. Keith "The Dean of Mean" Jardine
updated card as Rich 'no love' clementi is fighting on a short rebound (7 weeks!) after fighting on Spikes Fight Night April 2nd. p.s. does anyone else find it hard to type Rich's name without adding the 'no love' part? it just kinda sticks in the brain I find.
This was a good event. Man Machida is an intense dude and an awesome fighter. definitely one of my favourites in the 205 weight class.

Machida is a like a technical boxer, great at avoiding straight on confrontation, great at picking his shots. he's frustrated eveyone he's faced. He'd have problems with someone like Chuck because Chuck is just as patient and can pick you apart too.. except Chuck hits MUCH harder IMO.
Yeah, I noticed he was very patient. His fight game looked awesome, just I love brawlers...he was just too boring for me. Incredible how he picked his spots, though. The same goes for Penn..the way he was just picking apart Sherk was amazing. I loved that.
