Considering how Jeter gets busted on for his D, imagine of A-Rod plays much better. What do you do on Jeter's return? Not moving him off SS. Causing tension and issues. -Petey
That would be AWESOME! If DJ doesn't bitch about it. Move Jeter to first, and Morgan to third. See if Matsui can learn the infield at all, to get Giambi some ABs at DH.
Why would make Jeter move now, that he had not before? Jeter isn't moving to 1B as he would be one of the most overpaid/overrated 1B in all of baseball history. -Petey
He's already one of the most overpaid players in history :/ Because we have a new manager. Someone without the player-loyalty of Torre (Johnny Damon last year)

IF Derek is fine with it, do it. If not, you obviously don't want the most loved player in the world to hate you. Derek would even be decent at third, much better than at Short.

Yeah, ARod replacing Aaron Boone is much different than displacing Derek Jeter. Today, ARod still at 3rd. -Petey

But I won't want ARod to replace Jeter either. Mattingly was on his lesser years when he was replaced by Tino. Remember what the media and fans put Tino through? -Petey
