<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Derrick Rose reportedly would be the Minnesota Timberwolves ' choice if they win the NBA lottery in May, according to Charley Waters of the Pioneer Press. Rose has yet to make his decision about the draft.</div> Source Whether this is true or means anything, especially this early, is up in the air, but I agree with this. I think the Wolves are in dire need of a point guard. Randy Foye isn't and will never be a point guard, he is a combo guard that is best utilized as a scorer and not a distributor. I think Minnesota has realized that now, and that is why they were starting Foye at the 2 alongside Sebastian Telfair. Telfair is not a valid starter, right now anyway. Rose is a perfect fit, in my opinion.
I think Foye must have heard about this, because if you look at his game log, he picked it up a ton right around this time of the article. The only thing is, his scoring is up, but not his assists. I would love to see his skills put at the two with Rose running the show.
