The playoffs aren't here yet, but 7 teams have clinched in the East and 6 teams have clinched in the West. If you aren't familiar with a Buy or Sell thread, the rules are pretty simple. Answer the statement in the last post in the thread and provide a reason why you are Buying or Selling. Then provide your own Buy or Sell statement for the next person. To start: Buy or Sell - There will be a first round upset in the Eastern Conference playoffs
Sell. The only one I really thought about was the Cavs/Wizards series...but I think lebron will work his magic and the cavs will win. Buy or Sell- Tracy McGrady will finally make it out of the first round.
Sell. Get the brooms ready. Buy or Sell: The Jazz will be in the Western Conference Finals again this year.
Sell, the West is just too strong for them this year Buy/Sell: Cavs will make it to the ECF this year.
Sell. They're going to run into the celtics before they can get that far, and I can't see them winning that series. Buy or Sell: The 8th seed in the west will pull off another upset this year.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MyNetsForLife @ Apr 9 2008, 02:19 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Sell. Orlando will be taken to 6 games.</div> Buy. Whoever they end up facing (Sixers have been hot, Raptors just got Bosh back, Wizards just got Arenas back) have a boost going for them, so they'll be able to extend the series two more games. 7th seed Dallas can make it to the conference finals.
Sell...at this point they'd have to beat the Spurs in the first round, and then the winner of the Lakers/Suns. I don't think they'd be able to pull that off. But or Sell: The NBA Champion will come out of the East.
Sell. There's obviously a chance, with the Western teams wearing each other out. But I just don't think any of them are good enough to beat the Spurs, Hornets, Lakers, etc. Buy/Sell: Only two Eastern teams have a shot at going to the Finals (Boston, Detroit).
Sell, although this depends on if Lebron's back is still bothering him. Also, I believe other Eastern teams, such as Orlando and Washington give Boston trouble. So, to me, they're not a lock. Buy/Sell, the Lakers won't make it out of the 1st round (again).
Sell, not if they play Detroit in the first round as they would today if the playoffs started. Buy/Sell Golden State gets in again and beats New Orleans.
Buy. The Nuggets-GS game tomorrow is going to be in Golden State and probably whoever wins that will get into the POs. Obviously the Hornets are a good team but they lack playoff experience and depth. Paul and Baron will beat the hell out of each other on either end of the floor. If GS steals one in NO I like their chances of taking the series. Buy or Sell the Hornets making the WCF (a lot of people seem high on them so I want to know who thinks they're contenders or pretenders).
Sell, Pretenders. Not as good as the expirienced teams. Buy/Sell. FINALS: SPURS/LAKERS(either one) VS PISTONS/CELTICS(either one).
Sell - The West is ripe for upsets in every round Buy or Sell - Detroit's conference finals streak ends

Buy or Sell, Rasheed Wallace gets ejected from at least one playoff game?
its buy or sell not fact or fiction, anyway Sell- He'll be nervous in his first playoff situation Buy Or Sell: The 6ers win 2 games in the playoffs
