Sean Williams - Most Likely to Improve
April 9, 2008, 6:57 pm As the season winds down, Dave McMenamin treats the 2008 rookie class as if it were a senior class in a high school yearbook. Most Likely to be Most Improved? Sean Williams! “All it will take is some extended playing time and these players could be vying for the MIP trophy next season”, McMenamin says of Williams, Brandan Wright of the Warriors, and Julian Wright of the Hornets. Meanwhile, Williams dropped to #13 in ESPN’s rookie ranks, lowest of the season.

He'll definitely improve. I just want people stop comparing him to Kenyon. He is Sean Williams with his own strengths and weaknesses. Hope, this summer will be productive for Sean.
BTW, will he play in the summer league? He should, I think.

He most definitely should play in summer league. For arguments sake, if Sean stays away from the court all summer and just reads the play book I think he'd be phenomenal. Of course that's not to say that there are physical aspects he needs to improve greatly, but knowing where he should be on the floor on both ends should be his first priority. Next I would say learning to play without fouling, then boxing out before he attempts to rebound, and fine tuning his post game.

edit: Plus, taking a look at how much more refined he got just by working out with John Lucas last summer in Houston, I'm pretty optimistic.

lol idk if thats a mixed message....... anyway, the guy said "Extended playing time". whos responsable for playing time in this team ? oh yeah the midget. it means you play him more which is something hes not doing therefore its his responsability to do that, which he is not leading to a failure at the coaching position

If he gets the minutes, he'll get better. If he doesn't, and the midget hooks him after every mistake, he won't. It's pretty simple.

Why the hell is Sean's voice so low that it's to the point where I can't tell if it's him or Darth Vader talking?

I will be so happy if he becomes a legit 12/8 player with 2.0+ blocks.

If Sean Williams can develop his low post game, he will be a very dangerous player. We've all seen flashes, but we could really use it considering how ugly it gets sometimes when we give it to Nenad down there 4 times in a row with no points to show for it.
