    But all the NL 1st Basemen are legit 1st Basemen. They won't be DHs in the AL.

    I can see Prince being a DH, if he ever went to the AL.

    My vote was for the league leader in HR's with 6 in Carlos Pena and has more RBIs than anyone on that list.

    He is also on par to have a gold glove year at first base.

    For him not to be on the list is a disappointment considering he is leading the league right now, and having 46 HRs last year.


    But I also love Ryan Howard for the next 5 years. Albert Pujols has reached his peak and is declining.

    Pena had a great season last year but did it on a team that finished 30 games below .500. Considering how many years he's been in the big leagues, I didn't feel his resume put him quite at the top, although one could argue last year catapulted him close to it.
    Pujols has been more consistent at the plate, just as good with the glove, and has stayed on the field despite all of the talk about him being injured.

    That being said, Pena probably should have been on the list.
