Post your comments here. I'll be at the game! Five rows up and to the right of the Nuggets bench. I'll do a dance for TNT...NOT.

I hope you guys are wearing your WE BELIEVE shirts. It's gonna be an AMAZING game. I feel it in my bones. The Warriors will score over 120 pts, but the Nugz will do same. I dunno how, but the Warriors will pull it out at the end because WE BELIEVE.

Man, I wish I was at the Oracle, but got too many things on the platter.

    lol nice one.

This is a playoff game for the Warriors. It is do or die. The Warriors cannot manage to lose this game since they lose the tie breaker to the Nuggets.

Fortunately it is on TNT so I can watch it too. Yes!

What a roller coaster of a game. I can't believe the zone defense actually worked for Denver for once.

My thoughts exactly. We're not totally out of it but its looking like lotto in 08.

Sucks to lose but they deserved it. Tried to win an important game with the same old chucking, crappy defense, terrible shot selection, etc. and AGAIN lost. The roster isn't perfect but we know what this roster is capable of and we know how stupid they play. Its on the players if/when we don't make the playoffs.

The Warriors just didn't have anything off the bench and that really hurt them. Great game for the Nuggets, especially AI,Melo, and Smith.

The Warriors are nothing without Stephen Jackson. See beginning of the season, and the recent streak of games where he's been cold. It seems like we need another scorer. I wanted to see Marco in there to pick the zone defense and get some mid range shots that he's pretty good at. Also this team got too easily intimidated by Martin and Camby inside. It's something that has been kind of a pain on this team, even last season.

To add on about Jackson's stats recently. Jackson's stats going into this game for April (the last five games) looked like this: 9.6ppg, 28.8%FG%, 2.8 rebounds, 4.0 rebounds. This game he had 18 points but on 5-17 shooting (29%). I guess he didn't have that horrible of a game. He also didn't have as much margin of error with the absence of any bench scoring.

As a fan of another Western Conference team, the thought of the Warriors getting another lottery talent scares me.

Some sick part of me is glad that they're in the lotto. The last few weeks we've been playing shittier and lazier. IMO they really don't deserve to make the playoffs with the way they've performed. Especially in big games. We controlled our own destiny by playing the Mavs and Nuggets two times each in the last two weeks or so of the season and went 1-3. I just feel like if thats the type of effort they're going to put forth in the last weeks of the season then the lotto is where they belong. I can understand if the guys are tired but they can't even muster up some energy for what is THE BIGGEST game of the season? They just make stupid play after stupid play.

Tonight was like a microcosm of the season. We come out with awesome focus and energy, we're making all the right plays, hitting shots, moving the ball, etc. etc. We're up like 15 or 16 at the end of one. Then in the second quarter they decide they can just chuck 3's until the end of the game. Nuggets LEAD at half. Second half comes and they play shitty basketball again whilst trying to gain the lead from the Nugz. By this point the Nuggets are rolling and answering everything we do. Then i nthe 4th. Play like shit, get down 10+, make a few spectacular plays and get it down to like 7. Once they've got al lthe momentum again, dribble it up, chuck, clank. Rinse and repeat.

We know how good they can be when they're focused and playing smart. Even if you're an avid small ball hater (theres a couple of you on here) you know what this team is capable of and they did not play up to that level the last month of the season.

It doesn't matter because Nellie won't play whoever we get.

But how many more seasons do you see him coaching?

That would give the Warriors a hell of a young core: Monta, AB, BWright, Marco and 2008 lottery pick

Yeah the Warriors seemed to be without heart. I just don't see heart in players like Al Harrington. With Stephen Jackson there are times where he is his own worst enemy so he's not really there to rely on. And god when they add in Austin Croshere, they are just screwed. There was no bench tonight and obviously this starting lineup does not have the quality to contend with the rest of the West's starting lineups, unless if they are on their A game (perhaps even their A+ game when playing against a big team like Denver).

This team is garbage. Three of their starters just flat out cannot shoot the basketball (Baron=43%, Harrington=43%, Jackson=40%). Monta was not that great despite the 29 points: 4 missed freethrows and 6 turnovers, but at least he has the excuse of being young.

Trade everyone not named Ellis, Biedrins, or Wright, I'm sick of the bad ego-driven outside shots, people never learning from their mistakes which they keep making over and over (Baron took at least 2 3s with 20+ seconds left on the shot clock), the blown layups, the failure to get back on defense on every other play, the inevitable letdown against subpar teams, the failure to find and feed the hot hand, the soft reach-in fouls, the failure to work for position and box out on the boards, the missed foul shots, the utter inability to break a zone defense, the lazy passes in critical situations, and most of all the inconsistency.

Start over. This team will never go anywhere in the playoffs, if they can even get there. If the goal is to entertain then the Warriors mostly succeed. If it's to win a championship they will fail.

Wow that was an insane game....I wish it would have gone into overtime. Anyone catch the finale of the Utah@Dallas game? Dirk pulls out a buzzer beater.
