Evan Longoria is being forced to be called up when the Rays put Wille Aybar on the DL. He will debut tonight against the O's. Aybar is the 9th player on the Rays DL. This means that the Rays will lose one year of arbiritation beacause they didnt wait untill end of may.
Not bad stats for Longoria's first two games 6 ABs 2 H 1 R 1 RBI 2 BB. He played good defense when in the game also. I just hope that when Aybar comes off the DL, they teach him SS, because Bartlett starting off horribly.

They can send him back down for a few weeks after Aybar returns (which is likely).
