Don't think so much. Lakers Hornets Spurs Jazz Rockets Suns Dallas Denver Denver can grab the 7th if they win their final game and Dallas loses to New Orleans.
Just end the season already. lol *Edit - HAHAHAHA!!!! If the playoffs started today Phoenix would have to play San Antonio. What are the chances that they face each other in the first round? OMG HAHAHA
If the standings don't change, my predictions: L.A. over Denver in 5 Utah over Houston in 6 New Orleans over Dallas in 6 Phoenix over San Antonio in 6 SECOND ROUND L.A. over Utah in 5 Phoenix over New Orleans in 5 WCF (how fitting)!!!! L.A. over Phx in 5!!!
Hell yeah. I wouldn't be surprised to see Phoenix in the finals, especially if we don't have Bynum. Shaq's got the offense down and they're clicking. Amare's averaging like 30ppg since the trade. That team is getting hot at the right moment. I'm not impressed by San Antonio, at all. They're too old.

I think we can potientially sweep Nuggets, but I dont think we can beat Utah in 5. That's pushing it. That will go 6 or 7.
Phoenix will still have a much tougher road then us (assuming these standings stay this way) You can count San Antonio out all you want, but at the end of the day, we all know they will bring their A game when it counts. Like nmg said, every year people say the Spurs are done, and every year they prove us wrong. Also, as hard as I try, I just cannot imagine the Spurs getting bounced in the first round. Sorry, I just can't. Not saying it won't happen, but it seems like a very unlikely scenerio. Assuming the Suns do beat the Spurs, it will probably be no shorter than a 7 game series. Next they will face New Orleans (Dallas will lose in 4 or 5), which is a team they have struggled against all season long. I'm expecting a 6 or 7 game series as well
looking at the schedule, it's actually more likely that Dallas will be the 8th seed. Denver is a game back, with the tie breaker over them, and Dallas has to finish the season against NO.
If the game was in New Orleans, I'd say for sure that we'd be facing Dallas (granted, if we hang on to 1 seed). With the game in Dallas, I think they're going to be come out with a fire and rally behind the crowd. I don't think they want to play us in the first round.
