<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Rod Thorn continues to defend his coach in public and in private, in interviews with beat writers and in town halls with season ticket-holders. He likes what Lawrence Frank has done, particularly in handling difficult situations, and says there is no need for Frank to apologize as he did last week. “It’s certainly not necessary,” Thorn said. “It’s a combination of all of us.”</div> Woes toughen Frank’s resolve - Al Iannazzone - The Record Nets Learn From Tough Season - Ryan McNeill - Hoopsworld As many from this board have said, Frank is quite the classy guy.
I know it isn't his fault. He could have blown up by now but he has stayed calm. I give him one more year before he starts falling into trouble if improvement isn't shown.
Frank may have his faults, but the Kidd situation could have been a lot worse if it wasnt him at the head coaching position.
I like Frank, he's a great guy but I just don't know if he's the right coach for the personnel on THIS team. It was definitely encouraging to hear him say that this will never happen again. Frank's one of the hardest working coaches in the business, only if his team could follow his hardworking mentality.
He at least owes an apology for starting Collins the last 3 years. And for letting Collins stay in the game against the Hornets when he fouled the 3 point shooter and when he fouled Paul on a 3-point play. And for waiting for so long to go with Boone and Williams. And for jumping around like a clown on the bench. And for micro-managing. And for the horrible job he did against the Cavs in the playoffs last year. If he apologizes for all that and resigns, we're golden.

I would bet most of the people that complain about Frank also complained when he didn't play that stud Magliore. How's he doing in Dallas now?
