<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Former Net Rex Walters was named head coach of the University of San Francisco Monday, ending speculation that Nets assistant Bill Cartwright would get the job at his alma mater. Cartwright had expressed interest in the job over the past several months, but USF went with Walters, a successful coach at Florida Atlantic University. Walters played for the Nets between 1993 and 1996.</div>

Oh well. With that probably goes the hopes of getting a better big man coach. I think.

I like him as a coach but you gotta try and mix it up when we haven't gotten any offensive production from any of the bigs.

I'm all for shaking up the assitant coaches. I think this team needs a whole new fresh approach to building an identity and I believe it has to be implimented at the assistant level.

It's one thing to have a head coach that delegates everything to his assistants and it's another thing to have a head coach that does it all. We need more coaches that compliment each other as well as players.
