Those 3, and the Nets are my top 4 teams in the L, and I'm not frontrunning or anything with the Hornets, I really liked them since Paul was a rookie, I even picked them to make the playoffs this year (given I said 6th seed, not top 2 or 3 -- that was a shock lol)

My friend likes Orlando, so I'll go with them. And I'm infatuated with Syracuse players, so I'll go with the Nuggets, but not the Jazz because they're boring and I can't stand them.

Especially not with the fact that no one can hold down Dwight. And there's very little chance at stopping Hedo AND Rashard. Extremely doubtful.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bosh avg'ed 25/10. Calderone and Ford are better than Nelson. And the Raptors bench is better than the Magic's.

What are your picks?</div> my thoughts exactly. how cool would that be? shaq comes to phoenix and wins a ring. if he does that, he should retire. and the pistons. nobody is talking about them. i just hope they dont collapse in the playoffs like years past. i have faith in them. they are a great team who deserves it.
The team that made me a basketball nut in the 1980s was the Celtics, who would likely still be my team of choice had they never traded Dee Brown. With all they've been through since the glory years -- deaths of Len Bias and Reggie Lewis, years of losing -- I will root for them to win it all. Go Cs, except that tonight I want the Nets to beat them as a harbinger of what they can expect next year.
I will go with Washington and New Orleans. I don't mind Orlando, either. I will root for anyone against the Celtics - even the Lakers or Spurs. As for Sam Mitchell, he was thoroghly outcoached by Lawrence Frank last year, so it will be interesting to see how he fares against Stan the Man.
I want to see a Laker-Celtic final, but if I'm going to root for one team, I'm going with the Wizards. They are very, very underrated and very dangerous.
