last night someone i know held up a fire frank banner at the game. he stood up on his seat holding it and while he was, a security guard came over and grabbed him by his jersey and pulled him down off his chair onto the floor and over someone. all over holding up a sign? are you kidding me? they escorted him into the back took his name, number, and a bunch of different info and took a mugshot, a mugshot......wtf???? they can't be serious.... <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IJxaifjHuTI&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IJxaifjHuTI&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
good to see you caught it on video, if this gets out of control, there's your proof of improper treatment
lol "I GOT IT ON VIDEO" !!! i guess they were frank fans. but i hope nets management saw it. wouldve been awesome if there was a fire frank chant. that settle the nets problems
Why didn't they allow the second guy to leave? If that's his brother (at least that's what I think I heard), he should be allowed to go with him, no?

get this team out of this hell and into brooklyn plz. i actually feel bad for ratner for having a team here
This is all part of that family image the nets try and portray. They dont want any problems or distractions ala "fire isiah"

Its really not a big deal.. Its not like they held him at gun point he just pulled him off the chair.. nothing to get excited over...
Go right ahead and sue the nets. Security did nothing wrong here, as above poster stated they did not use more force then what was needed. I work in security, and I will say that this security person was wrong for the grabing, as our policy is strongly agnsit that unless it is to break up a fight or some other kind of physical disturbance. In no case should a security person use contact on a person. With that being said, there is nothing here that would win you a case, i will say that where i work in security we would never do that for that small of a problem. However, i dont know what the policy is with the NJ Nets security, and i will suport a fellow security officer as in this case. Dont waste your time, your case will crash and burn.
Come on, what happen to freedom of speech? ughh I remember when Bill Parcell left the jets to go to patriots people had worst stuff then this, and what happen? Security didnt do squashhh. When Nets was playing Hawks I saw someone had a sign saying Carter L.V.P. and nothing happen to him
My parents were at the game too, and apparently weren't that far away. I heard about the incident through them, but I'm glad I got to see it first hand.

I know for a fact, that in my place we would ask you, and if you said no we would then take you off the seat in a safe way. However as I said, I really dont see a major problem here. I know we dont get along Hypno, however I wish you nothing but luck with this case.
