last night someone i know held up a fire frank banner at the game. he stood up on his seat holding it and while he was, a security guard came over and grabbed him by his jersey and pulled him down off his chair onto the floor and over someone. all over holding up a sign? are you kidding me? they escorted him into the back took his name, number, and a bunch of different info and took a mugshot, a mugshot......wtf???? they can't be serious....

good to see you caught it on video, if this gets out of control, there's your proof of improper treatment

Why didn't they allow the second guy to leave? If that's his brother (at least that's what I think I heard), he should be allowed to go with him, no?

they came back for him and took him out also. there was a lawyer who sat behind them who is a season ticket holder. he gave me his business card and said that he has a case against them. 4 other season ticket holders gave me their name and numbers to be witnesses. even the frank supporters thought security went too far. they didn't even ask him to get down, just grabbed him. can they even do that if you're not resisting?

No idea. But for some reason, this kind of reminded me of the Baltimore Cop.

This is all part of that family image the nets try and portray. They dont want any problems or distractions ala "fire isiah"

Go right ahead and sue the nets. Security did nothing wrong here, as above poster stated they did not use more force then what was needed.

I work in security, and I will say that this security person was wrong for the grabing, as our policy is strongly agnsit that unless it is to break up a fight or some other kind of physical disturbance. In no case should a security person use contact on a person.

With that being said, there is nothing here that would win you a case, i will say that where i work in security we would never do that for that small of a problem.

However, i dont know what the policy is with the NJ Nets security, and i will suport a fellow security officer as in this case.

Dont waste your time, your case will crash and burn.

My parents were at the game too, and apparently weren't that far away. I heard about the incident through them, but I'm glad I got to see it first hand.

It depends on what the Nets policy is in terms of how there security is run.

I know for a fact, that in my place we would ask you, and if you said no we would then take you off the seat in a safe way.

However as I said, I really dont see a major problem here.

I know we dont get along Hypno, however I wish you nothing but luck with this case.
