It was in the wrong forum and inflammatory. Here's a cleaned up version

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (lamont coleman forever)</div><div class='quotemain'>Should have Jason Kidd have won season mvp in 01-02?

I think its the biggest joke that ever happened in professional sports history. He turned that garbage Nets team previously led by marbury and made it championship caliber and we got Duncan who didn't even win a ring that year beat him by mere votes. What do yall say. I think its the biggest joke ever</div>

I agree Kidd should have won both years he went to the Finals, he did everything for that team.

You could put your point forward in a better way than you did. Put points across rather than just putting together a couple of incoherent sentences.

It's an interesting point, but we would just prefer you put it across with more thought and care.

Kidd in 01-02 = Steve Nash in 2004-05 in terms of impact each had to their teams.

    Jason Kidd was robbed.

If you feel that way (as I do), it's logical to support KG or Paul over Kobe this season.

At this point, I'd be content with either Paul or Kobe as MVP.

    KG has 2 other allstars
although Paul deserves mvp, the fact that kobes been around like a decade longer and has done more achievements, they just need to give him the mvp. if people push him to become the next jordan, then I think the league needs to atleast give Kobe one and I guarantee it will happen in a short while

I don't see how Kobe doesn't deserve the MVP. He led the Lakers to the best record in the toughest conference we've ever seen. Not to mention, he also played on what was likely the most injured team in the West. Bynum missed the last 47 games and is still out, Ariza missed something around 45 and is still out, Walton missed some, Gasol missed about a dozen as a Laker, Kwame was hurt for most of the year when he was a Laker. I think you get my point.

Also to point out, Kobe has played the last third of the season with a mangled pinkie, and injury that 99.9% of the league would have taken surgery on, Kobe opted to stick with it to help his team out.

And all this is completely negating his stats of roughly 29/6/6, which are absolutely incredible numbers. Then you also realize he's probably going to be on the All Defense firs team again, something that only KG might do of the other MVP candidates.
