Series Thread: #1 Boston Celtics vs. #8 Atlanta Hawks

WTF happen??? Peirce was supposed to have 40+ pts, Boston was supposed to run the Hawks out the building.

 

Why does the game look so weird on TNT? It's like, brighter...or something. Actually, it almost looks as if the arena's filled with smoke.

Strange.

 

Wow. Whole lotta flops so far. I hate the Celtics and their floppiness.

And we're down 20...so Boston is gonna be up 3-2. I really hope Hawks make it to a game 7 to put the Celtics on their heels.

 

Celtics players flopping? You must be watching another game and for your info., the refs have made more calls in favor of the Hawks, in every game so far. Just look at the sheet who has more free throws.

I know, I was just gettin pissed at the stupid foul calls and the dumb techs at the end of the game. grrr

But the flops were annoying, I think there were 2 in a row by Powe..? Yea, I'm pretty sure it was him. He was looking like a Collins Jr. out there

Dude seriously, why are you so angry at the C's? Usually you're one of the most composed people on these boards.

Look at the FT attempts:

Game 1: BOS 19-24 || ATL 20-28
Game 2: BOS 19-26 || ATL 31-40
Game 3: BOS 23-25 || ATL 20-27
Game 4: BOS 10-18 || ATL 29-33
Game 5: BOS 11-15 || ATL 25-29

Atlanta attempted more FTs in every single game they played, in fact, Atlanta attempted 49 more FTs (10 FTs / Game) than Boston, that's 45% more FTs!!
You can say whatever you want, but there's noooo way you can blame the refs for this one.

Well who really expected the Hawks to win in Boston, they'll be back tho.

I find it odd that Garnett was all up in the refs face, cussing at him, and get nothing but a little warning, while Josh Smith said something no where near as extreme as Garnett did, yet he gets t'd up.
