Well I don't like James, but of course he can win some games for you.

Kobe happens to play empirically better against good teams this season, which is a plus. I try to mix in some empirical evidence with my hating.

I'm not saying Kobe isn't clutch (he is probably more clutch than LeBron despite the said statistics especially in the final few seconds) but stats don't lie, LeBron is right up there in terms of being clutch with Kobe. Yes, he's missed shots, but he also makes great passes to team-mates to finish of games, like to Delonte West the other night. I'm sorry, but anyone saying LeBron James isn't clutch and doesn't win games is simply delusional.

Looking at those stats, I'm not sure LeBron is better. Of course he is comparable though.

Kobe is on a better team and must subjugate himself, his TS% is also superior in the clutch.

In addition, Kobe is better against good teams. LeBron is able to inflate his stats to a degree since his level of competition in the East is overall lower.

Ah well I agree with you. Like I said, the guy is a beast and has generally played well in crunch time.

I think he's the second best player in the league, scratch that, in the world at the moment. Kobe is first and will continue to be until James wins a ring.
