there were alot of Positives in this game i gues this is otehr steeping stone but further cements one thing we need a legit 2nd option but in this case, just to free up Bosh

How can you call it a Calderon flop </div> Because it was a flop. </div> It was a badly officiated game in general. The refs seemed to randomly alternate between allowing too much contact and calling every little thing they saw. I think the fact that there were two terrible decisions in the final minute that went against both teams accurately represents how it was for the whole game.
I said in another thread that I thought Sam coached a fairly decent game to bounce back from Sunday's nonsense. There were a few missed adjustments and late timeouts, but he overcame them by playing a tight, effective rotation and getting the team to play some solid defense down the stretch. Here's the one problem I have with this game, though. We are such a terrible team when it comes to setting up one possession for the game. In fact, I really can't remember the last time we won a game when it came down to one final play and I've begun to expect failure in those situations (that TJ layup that we got jipped out of in Atlanta was probably the only exception). The problem is that we don't have a different approach when it comes to that one possession. We don't have a drawn up play for special circumstances like that. We do what we do in every single situation, which is try to draw an isolation for either Ford or Bosh or run the pick-and-roll sequence. Its entirely too predictable when it comes down to it and you also have situations like tonight where the ball's moved to the player who set the pick (Bosh) and the big decision is not left to our point guards. Bosh should've made the drive to the bucket or passed out. In fact, I really really was hoping we'd find a way to get the ball in Kapono's hands.

How can you call it a Calderon flop </div> Because it was a flop. </div> LOL, maybe Calderon embellished the call but he got a clean elbow to the face from Dooling and it was the correct call, the non-call on Dwight was ridiculous though as Bosh was hacked across the chest. Anyways this game was really exciting and it was good to see the Raptors get over the hump finally of the massive 1st quarter deficit. Kapono, Calderon and Bosh all played really well, but on the other hand TJ Ford and Moon played pretty bad. Ill give Ford some credit he anchored our comeback in the 2nd quarter but he has been playing horrible on offense and still gets burnt by Nelson on defense, and for Moon he showed great hustle and I was really happy with the way he was playing untill he decided to keep jacking up shots in the 3rd......ahhh w.e Raptors still in 6 baby!!!!!
Could you imagine if we didn't have these terrible starts? We've played better in 6 of the last 8 quarters of play and are still down 0-2 in this series.
raps are just missing a scorer, thats all they need, they have the d, they have the plays, they just need a replacement for AB (who is big and can score)
Man, what a game. Horrible officiating and it seemed like all of the calls were going Toronto's way towards the end but Orlando still pulled it out. To call that foul on Jameer with 9 seconds left in a playoff game is ridiculous. I'm sick of the Raptors flopping every two seconds (Bosh, Delfino, Calderon) it's so annoying and "soft" if you want my honest opinion. Hopefully we can just sweep and get this series over with. It was so fun yelling go home to all of those Raptors fans. Oh and by the way, why is Bosh such a baby. He was whining that there was no foul called on his last shot in his post game interview. He really pisses me off and I lost all respect I had for him after watching him flop and bitch these last two games.
Dude, when did you become such a nonsensical homer? The officiating sucked, but it sucked both ways. And Bosh had every right to complain about that non-call at the end of the game. You probably missed it since you were in the crowd, but it was such an obvious foul.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>“I knew I was going to have space,” Bosh said of the last shot. “The time before I drove the basket and I didn’t get a call. I didn’t want to put it in the referee’s hands. I wanted to get a clean look—I felt like I did a decent job. I got a decent look and just missed the shot.”</div> That kind of annoys me. I realize that the referees f'd up on the previous play, but Bosh needs to have a better awareness of the situation than that. Regardless of the stupid calls, him taking it to the bucket is still one of the highest percentage shots that we can generate. He needs to look for that every time. And if we were aiming for a jumpshot, there were 4 other people on the floor who were better suited to take that shot. He should be able to admit that the last play of the game could've been better executed.

Maybe it was different since I was in the crowd but EVERYONE thought it was bullshit that they called a foul on Dooling at a time like that. Also, I didn't see any contact with Bosh but maybe it was my view. Sorry that was a pretty prickish post, I guess I was just pumped/pissed. lol

It went bad both ways and you act as if Orlando was the victim. Of course the crouwd thinks it's bullshit, they are the home crowd. You sound like Will man with your homer comments. But whatever, you're happy I guess. Bosh is a flopper now and you have no respect? That's fine with me.
Bosh IS a flopper. He virtually never drives all the way to the net and finishes. He relies on exaggerating contact to get to the stripe. He also passed the ball off like four times in the last two minutes rather than take a go-ahead or a tying shot. The guy has been outplayed by Howard to the point of ludicrousness, and Howard is a limited player IMO. Even when we were up by 1 was there any doubt we'd lose? This team is predictable. I'd be surprised if we don't split at home next week and the series is over in five. There are so many problems with this team right now. Colangelo needs to do an overhaul. Trade our pick and make those expiring contracts dance this summer.
