Just wondering how you guys would feel about bringing Jamison to New Jersey. They were a great one two punch at UNC and they still have a great relationship. Jamison is a free agent at the end of the season and he'll probably want big money. I'm not too sure about who's making what on our team but there's gotta be a way o freeing up some space for him. Maybe Jamison would be the perfect factor to push Carter and make us a legit playoff contender.
I'd give up Jefferson for him but they already have Butler. Jamison fills two needs: shooting and post offense. Not the best at either but better than most on the team.
I would like that, but how? we couldn't sign him for the MLE, so it would have to be a S&T, but who makes enough that would work? RJ, but would they want him when they have Butler? Swift+KVH I heard could take 13M in return, but it would be pointless for WAS to trade him for cap space. So we'd have to package those two with a young player, either our pick or Marcus/Boone/Sean, and see if they'd do that. I think they'll probably get better offers than that, and I'm not sure I'd do more than that (if I'd even do that)
Why would we have to trade RJ to Washington? Make trades and cuts to free up cap space and sign him. He's an unrestricted free agent we wouldn't have to trade for him. Well atleast I don't think, I don't really know my stuff about the cap and all that.
