Golden State made me proud to be an NBA fan and Toronto makes me happy to be a Raptors Fan Kings are also up there, along with the Jazz probably

Bill Simmons will tell you that the Boston Garden is still houses as loud, boisterous, and intelligent fans as there are in the league but they've been pretty damn flat from what I've seen in their games against Atlanta. Seems like when the games are still relatively close (within 10 pts) the fans just sit on their asses and have zero enthusiasm. It seems like they are only really happy to be there when the team is up 20 and Garnett and Glenn Davis are running around chest pumping and screaming like damn fools. Why aren't they on their feet cheering from the tip until the final buzzer? Why can't they start their own chants? Why do they refuse to get off their feet for anything short of a KG dunk? They aren't even close to Detroit, Sac, Utah, or GS. Hell they're not even close to LAL, SA, or PHX. Granted, with any team that rises from obscurity into glory you're going to get a ton of bandwagoners who don't really care about the team but just go because its the cool place to be.</div> It's Atlanta...the outcome is decided ahead of time. Just watch for when we play Cleveland, Detroit or LA if we are able to advance that far. A ton of fans of other teams just yell because it's cool when they don't even know the players they're cheering for. The Boston fans in this series are just taking it in slowly what we have. We like to watch the basketball too ya know rather than mindlessly screaming like little girls the entire game. It will be much louder when the other teams are actually able to compete within 15 points of us. It's kinda hard to get yourself up and yell as loud as you can when you're winning by 20-25 the entire game unless your team is the underdog. When you're supposed to win it's like yawn get the next round started eh? </div> Its that kind of attitude that makes me despise the stereotypical Boston sports fan. Its ok though because Boston is going to get it handed to them by whoever comes out of the west. Just like the Pats. </div> Funny..did I hear the voice of a jealous fan that's team is sitting at home right now? Did I? Or am I just hearing things?

Golden State is the best Home Crowd from what I've seen, I've also always been amazed by how intelligent that GS forum is (including a few years ago when the Warriors were bad and the posters had no real reason to be so passionate).
It doesn't even matter to me what people thought of the Boston crowd. We're getting business done while your teams are currently sitting at home. Why shouldn't I be happy about that?

Golden State won 48 games in the West and would probably be at least third over there in that lame ass conference; taking that Eastern inflation into account.
My guess is that on average per person most European basketball crowds are more loud and noisy than the top 5 NBA arena crowds.

Teedaught, GS, Utah are all great supporters. I've been impressed with Magic fans, they may not have the endurance of the other fanbases mentioned but they can really turn things up a notch when it matters most.

The conference is indeed pathetic as a whole, and playa was mocking the Warriors for "not being in the post-season". Please, that means nothing. Further, the Lakers haven't had Gasol the entire year anyway. Nor should they be thrown in a verbal flourish that includes the Hawks.

Boston's home crowd doesn't impress me much either. Philly's did, but I'm wondering if they'd be there if Philly lost game 1
Just a random thought that has nothing to do with Playoff teams home crowds (well loosely tied with the Hornets), but I thought Oklahoma City had a pretty cool crowd when the Hornets DID have to play there. I guess it was due to the fact that they dont have an NBA team there, but I remember they would cheer for everything. On consensus, I agree that GS has some of the rowdiest fans out there, it was cool watching them in last year's playoffs. Really exciting games that would hype you up just because of the crowd reaction.
