    I'm not one of those people who thinks flag burners should be shot. I don't even think it's a particularly important political issue.

    But I still think what Rick Monday did and how people reacted to it was something all Americans can be proud of.

    To me, it's one of the most memorable and uplifting moments in baseball history.

    This is the first time I've ever heard of it. That's pretty cool. Gotta love what he did there.

    How did they get to left field, had time to put lighter fluid on it, and strike 2 matches? I dont think you could make it to the playing surface nowaday's Except in Chicago.
